金馬影帝張涵予在林超賢執導的《湄公河行動》中飾演緝毒隊長，近日接受陸媒《網易娛樂》專訪，表示自《集結號》奪影帝後，曾有１年半時間相當抑鬱，走不出角色，包括此次演《湄公河》，還提到在吳宇森的《追捕》都有大量動作戲，壓力不小，讓他打趣「每拍一部，就死一次」。
憑信念豁出去
向來對動作戲不擅長的他，在《湄公河》吃足苦頭，該片遠赴泰國、雲南當地取景，近40度的高溫讓他吃不消。他印象深刻是片中有一個大山洞，從頭走到尾走完要花２個多小時，還要爬100多階樓梯，讓他的腿直發抖。他還說自己沒受過近身格鬥訓練，但憑著一股信念，覺得若沒這樣拚命，電影就不會好看。
張涵予在微博上發文，感慨為《湄公河》豁出去，貢獻好幾個「第１次」，包括「第１次在異國他鄉玩命，第１次從頭打到21點的保險和投降規則尾，第１次揹著20多公斤的裝備追警犬，現在又要第１次寫文章了。」
７日在台上映
彭于晏在片中飾演百變情報員，以各種造型獲粉絲讚賞，他自認起先不太適應新造型，在片場也常被人認不出。林超賢開玩笑說：「把彭改造成這樣，不要太帥，才能給別的男演員一些機會！」
該片在大陸上映４天，票房突破２億人民幣（約9.4億台幣），好評不斷，７日全台上映。
